Uncensy is a website where you chat with AI companions, each a character run by an AI model, chosen from a public library or built yourself. The conversation carries the app
Chat quality scores Very Good, and so does advanced content, which is the case for Uncensy in two lines. Each companion keeps its own appearance, personality and conversation history, and you can reset one chat without deleting the character. The personality you pick in the builder also sets the starting relationship, so a companion begins a conversation in a defined role rather than as a blank slate.
Memory is the part to treat with care. The home page claims a companion remembers everything you tell it, but how that works is not described, and Uncensy is not on our long-term memory list. Read the claim as something to check over a few sessions. Adult conversations need a paid Spark or Blaze plan, not the free account.
Voice calls, video messages and pictures, all in the chat
Everything visual happens inside a conversation. Companions can send generated pictures and video messages, and you can hold a real-time voice call, all charged in diamonds, with lower rates on paid plans. There is no standalone image or video generator for making pictures outside a chat. Image quality scores Fair, and features and generative tools are Fair as well, so these extras add range without being the reason to choose Uncensy. Video is recent enough that its diamond cost is worth checking first.
A builder with nine steps and 11 personalities
Customization scores Very Good, and the builder shows why. It walks through identity and origin, face and body, hair, outfit, persona and chemistry, and voice, then a review step where you name the companion. You pick a realistic or anime style and set body type, ethnicity, hair color and an age range, along with traits, interests and texting style. Some steps are required, such as hair color with nine choices.
The persona step offers 11 personality types, among them Dating, Girlfriend, Innocent, Crazy and Childhood friend, plus assertive, reserved and several role-play types. A free account holds one companion, Spark five and Blaze ten, and more slots cost diamonds. Characters score Very Good, so the public library is a real alternative if you would rather not build.
Plans plus diamonds: what regular use costs
As of September 2026, its pricing page lists Spark and Blaze from $7.99 a month, with 70% off the first month before the regular price applies. Spark includes 50 diamonds a month and Blaze 150, along with priority support and lower rates for media. The free account gives a daily message allowance, one slot and a one-time gift of 40 diamonds. For a heavy user, the plan is only the floor. Every picture, voice message, call, video and extra slot comes out of the diamond balance, and once the monthly allowance runs out you buy packs. An earlier version of the pricing page sold one-time packs from $10 to $100, with larger packs adding a bigger share of bonus credits. The per-item costs are not published up front, so watch your balance in the first month before committing.
Cancelling, refunds and the diamond balance
Its FAQ says you cancel from billing in My Companions or Settings and keep your plan's benefits until the paid period ends, after which the account returns to Free. Refunds follow its terms of service, so read those before a large diamond purchase. Diamonds do not expire, which softens the risk of buying a bigger pack.
